    Greater Greenwood United Ministry is owned by the following local Christian Churches in Greenwood County.  These Churches are members of the organization, and provide much needed funding, volunteers, and food for the pantry of the Ministry.

    Greater Greenwood United Ministry accepts no State or Federal funding as it is a faith-based 501c3 non-profit organization. 

    In addition to the local Christian churches listed above, funding is also provided by the following:

    • Memorials, Honorariums, and Gifts
    • Greenwood Civic Clubs and Organizations
    • Local Business and Industry
    • Private and Individual Contributions
    • Fundraisers, such as "The Medicine Chase 5K” and “Music for Ministry”
      are held annually.
